This is a primer for beginners who have not yet started their watercolor painting journey. Learn what does it feel to paint intuitively, relax and allow yourself dive into the world of colors, you can watch real time videos of painting process, sometimes without voice, then you can put your favorite music in the background, there is also included videos with introduction how to practice. If it feels to complicated - just enjoy the process and we will get into the actual studies in later courses.

Meet your Teacher

Evita studied art and music during her elementary and high school years. After completing her philosophy and sinology studies at university, her passion has been teaching languages, creative arts, yoga and tai chi for children, teenagers and adults. Introductory Course Content

Flow and motion.

"Chipper" is the watercolour painting on Arches 300gsm, size 55 x 75 cm large.

Invite the playful part of you to explore the varieties of colour in motion and motion in colour. Explore pets and animals you meet around you. During daily walks - take photos of cats, dogs in eyecatching situations. Explore their movements. You are welcome to do so while surfing over internet and watching pictures - take notes,  sketchk and notice interesting situations. Painting is the journey, exploration and freedom. Intuitive paintig process of animal is joyous and tricky. Think with your heart while feeling with your mind - in this way you will open up to the possibilities in creative journey have not been walked yet

Feeling the energies around.

"Rasmuss" is pet portrait commision painting. Watercolour on Hahnemuhle paper size 30 x 40 cm.

During pet portrait painting process - my feeling and vision is to create the pet portrait out of the world of colours.
This is the story of beautiful and large cane corso mix breed dog Rasmuss who lives happily in the countryside of Latvia surrounded by enchanting nature - forests and feels, hills and small creeks. He is like giant colourful cloud walking on earth and giving much joy to his humans.
Can you imagine and follow the journey together with me ecxploring and birthing into reality that we cannot see in daily life?

Spring is here. And so the flowers...

I love the flower world and see how it connects with our beloved pets and animals. After the long winter nature wakes up from the sleep and liveliness arises. 
Adding additional touches - backgrounds, objects.. is the part of creative process that challanges a bit. I invite you to feel your favourite spring flowers while watching these videos.

Colours everywhere - meet the lovely dog Lilly

This could be project you develop after watching, exploring cats in different postures.. feeling and selecting your message through colours. 
This video is without instructions but you can clearly see the whole process. Sometimes is very hard to talk while painting, impossible. That is the part of creative process - and I invite you to witness this sacred moment in time. I added also sketches - so you can explore and try yourself.
